Hello,
I am considering having my AP/IB class (levels 5/6) read l'Enfant de Noë by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt next year. Has anyone had success using this novel with students? I am always interested in how others' students have reacted to a novel before I take the plunge and have it ordered.

I'm going to be in Indy next week. Are there any good bookstores there that carry French newspapers or have French books (any age range)?

Hello,
Unfortunately, there are none that I know of. Borders, before it closed, carried a few magazines and novels. I get a lot from amazon.com used booksellers and occasionally place orders from amazon.fr when lower price of the books justifies the shipping costs. If only we could download Kindle books from amazon.fr, but it isn't allowed.

I haven't read L'Enfant, but will get it this summer. I teach both Oscar et la Dame Rose and Monsieur Ibrahim. The kids love both books. I'm looking forward to reading L'Enfant.
