Subject: Invitation to AOLF (Mauritius) Workshop - Undertaking of High Commission of India
Dear Ones,
It gives me great pleasure to invite you for an Art of Living Foundation's (Mauritius) Hands On Session on “Diet, Asanas and Pranayama for Healthy Living ~ Leading The Yoga Way” on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 0930 hrs to 10.00 hrs at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Indian Culture, Phoenix (Multipurpose Hall).
This
is a part of the larger program undertaking by The High Commission of
India, Port Louis as a run up to The International Day of Yoga.
The workshop will have the following components:
1. A 30 minute (9.30 am to 10.00 am, 30th May 2015) talk and Hands on Session on “Diet, Asanas and Pranayama for Healthy Living ~ Leading The Yoga Way” by Dr. Richa Chopra, a classical singer, a trained psychologist, and a Senior International Faculty of Art of Living India.
And followed by the additional workshops
2.
A 15 minute presentation on “The role of Yoga and Ayurveda in the
management of NCD in Mauritius with special reference to Pre-diabetes”
by Dr. P R Joorawon, President of Association of Ayurvedic
practitioners.
3. A presentation on “Effect of diet on
environment” followed by “Warm up Yoga demonstration” by Ms. Mohini
Purbhoo, trained Yoga teacher with Arya Sabha of Mauritius. Total time
15 minutes.
4. A 10 minute talk on ‘Yoga Se Pahle” (Before Yoga) by Ms. Alka Dunpath, Senior Lecturer, Deptt. of Hindi studies, MGI, MOKA.
5.
A 15 minute demonstrative session on “Yogasanas, Pranayama &
Ayurvedic diet as practical methods in enhancing healthy living in
Mauritius” – By Dr. Gyaneshwarsing Guddoye, an Ayurveda & Yoga
expert & international Consultant & Vice President, Meda
Ayur-Yoga Peetha.
