JGD,
What do we know of this world better than a legend called Mr.Einstein?
Do we really have understood this world, our relationships, RELATIVity better than Einstein did?
Are we in a position to use just 4% of our mind like Einstein?
Do we really know about the other cosmic forces, the invisible like Einstein did?
What are we doing on this Earth then, sleep-work-eat-sleep!
I was reading about Mr.Einstein the other day and found out that Einstein was inspired by our own Bhagvad Gita! Yes your eyes are reading correct.
In his early years Einstein tried understanding the gita from the point of view of science as every scientist does, but failed miserably.
Why?
Because science demands proof, then faith follows, where as the bhagavad gita is the embodiment of faith first. Even
Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana... both gained
enlightenment in their lifetime by following the Wisdom contained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita. Both started
in search of God through the path of Bhakti yoga. At a certain stage in life the path of Bhakti yoga finally
merges with the path of jnana yoga!
So Einstein in his last years of life, realized this mistake. His Ego crumbled. He stopped looking for proofs for the bhagavad & surrendered. Astoundingly the Gita started unfolding before him then...But it was too late then, as he had grown old & could not fully assimilate the wisdom in this sacred text.
Then he said "When I read the Bhagavad Gita and reflect about how God created this universe everything else seems so superfluous"
What is the use of an Ego that cannot even match what Einstein did! See how stupid our ego's are :P
Guruji says "Read atleast a single shloka everday from the bhagavad gita"
Krishna displays his Vishwaroopa to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
Best is to repeat a Part1 course. When was the last time you did your part one? Do your remember the knowledge points? Are you using atleast one of them? If not, lets be humble and come back to the beautiful source of knowledge called the Part 1 course. Guruji has so beautifully given us this knowledge in Part1 course. Why do you want to go elsewhere!
Get in more people in this knowledge. Organize courses for your friends, relatives... Guruji says, this is the best service that one can do.
So I find time and read the bhagvad or listen to Guruji on bhagavad.
And I have a nice compilation of Gita Knowledge, for all the Busy Bees.... It was not present in Einstein's time! I read it almost daily :)
I am not Einstein!
For all those who aren't here is the attachment. Print and keep it when you can read it daily :) It was designed in the Ashram by a devotee after a Bhagavad Gita discourse.
Jai Gurudev!
