Connection Timeout ??

Help,

I'd be grateful for any advice re a problem I have with AOL 4,

connected to the internet, browsing fine but certain sites just return the
message
Connection Timeout - after about 8-10 seconds ?

Is there anything I can do about this ?

On the client, no, I don't think so. First off, the site you're trying
to access doesn't return that message, you're client, or AOLs gateway is
returning that message as a result of waiting so long for a communique
from the site. Normally there isn't anything you can do (unless you
want to wait longer).
