OB SPECIFICATION:



This person will be eliciting requirements for a data migration to Cloud. This person will need to be able to perform certain technical skills, but not without guidance. This is a heavily business operating role. Using data, transforming data, but not building out tools.



The Sr. Information Data Analyst will extract, analyze, and summarize data. The Senior Data Analyst should be a dynamic individual with the ability to take initiative and be prepared to support all functions of the business teams.



The primary expectation for this candidate is to support data teams in migrating data processes for reporting, campaigns, and various other analytical deliverables in Cloud environment.



1. Elicit and gather business requirements

2. Import, transform, validate and/or model data

3. Solve problems with a multidisciplinary approach, combining technical expertise with business knowledge

4. Extract and transform raw data from various data sources into useful information to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational insights.

5. Develop quality control measures, testing measures, and the accuracy of data standards to support deployment of solutions for the business Create and automate reports by established deadlines and on an ad-hoc basis

6. Leverages a basic understanding of multiple data structures and sources to perform moderately complex data manipulation using standard data extraction and analytical tools and techniques

7. Prior experience working with multiple database technologies

8. Good understanding of logical/physical data models

9. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills are required

10. Effectively communicate issues, needs, and assist in troubleshooting



Additional requirements :

Have good knowledge of Python (specifically Pandas and PySpark)

Have knowledge of SAS and SQL

Able to write programming in Python, SAS, SQL based on the given business rules

Demonstrated experience with:

Reading files and applying transformation

Performing basic data analysis and data validations

Understanding of Relational data architecture and Relational database concepts

Effectively communicate results of data analysis and validations

Optional -

Awareness of Agile methodology

Awareness of Google Cloud and Biq Query
