Job Description "Responsibilities:
· Apply verification and validation methods to improve and ensure the quality of the product to deliver to end users
· Test various components of the product, including middle tier web services, front end or backend.
· Develop and own automated test suite developed in SoapUI or Ranorex.
· Take ownership of the QA process within a team and ensure it aligns with the overall QA strategy of the business.
· Work with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and other QAs to continuously drive delivery of high quality products and features.
· Have a good understanding of Agile principles and practices of the QA role within a cross-functional team.
· Partner with Business Analysts to define both functional and nonfunctional requirements and evaluate strategies for ensuring these are thoroughly tested.
· Craft automated end-to-end tests across a range products within our portfolio.
· Coordinate with other QAs within and across teams to share knowledge and resources, and identify common challenges.
· Grow domain expertise in health care software industry.
· Value a collaborative team setting and be a strong communicator.
· Performing all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· BSCS or equivalent
· A minimum of 5 years' related experience as QA engineer using automation tools (i.e. SoapUI, QTP, Ranorex or similar tools).
· Experienced with automated test frameworks, and ability to create and maintain a large suite of automated tests.
· Experienced with different types of testing including API, UI, and backend.
· Hands-on testing experience using Java or C#, JavaScript, groovy, XML, SOAP and SQL
· Experience working with WebLogic application server
· Hands-on experience with Linux or other Unix environment as well as with Oracle and other enterprise-class RDBMS
· Nice to have: Eclipse (or JavaBeans, etc.), Maven,Ant, JUnit, Jira, healthcare applications and experience working in an Agile development environment
· Have worked as a QA in an Agile environment with a focus on continuous delivery
