Requires engineering knowledge with structural design, construction techniques, construction
scheduling, hazardous materials handling, and building codes knowledge. Create and review designs
and drawings as required and necessary for alteration modernization or expansion of Federal Aviation
Administration facilities to support and plan for the integration of the National Air Space
modernization projects and program systems, components and equipment. Prepare generic building
specifications and conduct appropriate civil engineering tests and studies associated with the
transition, integration and implementation of the National Air Space modernization projects.
Performs on site construction inspection at Airport Traffic Control Tower facilities, reviews shop
drawings/submittals, progress payments. Prepares field change notices, cost estimates, field
reports, and progress reports. Participates in job meetings supports negotiation activities.

Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in the appropriate engineering specialty (Civil
Engineering) from an accredited college or university. For the entry-level position no experience is
required.

Salary: $40,000
