Business Analyst
Analyze market, business and customer needs and develop requirements and use
cases that will specify the functionality prescribed. Define, analyze and
document functional requirements, use cases and supplementary system
requirements for existing and new products using repeatable processes; help
refine and evolve those processes to incorporate best practices for product
development.
Minimum requirements include:
3 - 5 years requirements analysis experience
Experience facilitating JAD sessions
Experience using the Rational Suite - Requisite Pro/ReqPro, Rational Rose,
ClearCase, ClearQuest,
Experience with UML notation, RUP
Ability to write and prepare Use Cases
Experience gathering functional requirements and translating business needs
into technical requirements and use cases
Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills as well as
strong inquiry and interviewing skills
Experience or background in other areas of computer science such as
databases, web technologies, networking, programming, high availability,
distributed systems, and security as well as the Unix and Microsoft
operating systems
