US-VA- Richmond- Novell CNE + MCSE and Active Directory

We are currently recruiting for a contract opportunity in Richmond, VA for a
currently certified Novell CNE (no CNAs please) and MCSE. Network Engineer.
Candidate must have Netware/NDS to Windows 2000/AD migration exp. a BIG
PLUS. MUST have a min. of 6 yrs. network exp., with min. 3 yrs. as
Senior/Lead. MUST have current exp. supporting 50+ servers incl. Netware
3.x, 4.x, 5.x and Windows NT/2000 server operating systems. Citrix
experience/certification (CCA) required.
Storagetek/Veritas, NAV Corporate Edition, IIS, SQL experience a PLUS. MUST
be mature engineer able to provide professional support in a visible
executive environment. MUST be able to tailor information delivery to the
audience and operate with strict adherence to standards and policies. MUST
work with minimal support from direct manager , utilizing team members,
peers, and subject matter experts for assistance. This position is solely
responsible for operating system/hardware support of 50+ servers.
NOTE: All hands-on support work must be performed during 12:00am-6:00am
maintenance windows and accounts for approximately 25% of the engineers
time. MUST also provide 24x7 on-call support approximately once every 3
months. Candidate will work at an Innsbrook area location but will provide
support throughout the Richmond area.
