Position : Sr. Network Architect
Location : Racine WI
Duration : 6 Months Plus

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

* University degree level education or equivalent in Data Communications, Communications Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience
* In depth knowledge of Data Communications technologies
* Vendor or Vendor agnostic certifications or equivalent proven practical network experience
* Hold at least one of relevant Professional certifications such as: Cisco, Security
* Excellent understanding of network security principles and practical experience implementing secure and robust data communications networks
* Proven experience of design, implementation and testing of network solutions including designing test campaigns and ensuring the successful delivery of validation testing
* A self-starter who can prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively as well as managing those under his/her control
* An authority on most aspects of data communications networks covering wired, wireless, remote, security, monitoring, and user authentication
* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong leadership skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
* Flexibility to travel and work flexibly in differing time zones
* Routing protocols OSPF, BGP, IS-IS
* IPv4 and IPv6
* Network Admission Control
* Firewalls, DMZ, Encryption, IDS
* WAN Optimization techniques
* WAN technology, IPSEC, VPN, MPLS
* DNS, DHCP, NTP
* Load Balancing and GSLB
* Wan Optimization (acceleration, compression, latency reduction)
* Quality of Service, Class of Services
* TOGAF
