Facilities Civil Engineer
This position is in facilities engineering and is in support of rehabilitation projects for
refurbishment of infrastructure at a large commercial aircraft manufacturing plant. Requires
knowledge and experience in design and implementation of civil/structural engineering projects such
as buildings, roadways, parking lots, equipment foundations, drainage and overhead handling systems.
Must have knowledge and understanding of CAD drawing systems and the ability to write comprehensive
technical specifications suitable for bidding complex civil/structural projects. Must prepare
estimates and justification for short and long-range engineering projects as well as develop
technical presentations for design reviews. Must be an effective communicator and capable of
providing comprehensive status reports for work in process. Requires BS degree in civil/structural
engineering plus four years related experience. Site and storm drainage experience is a plus.
These positions are contract assignments with a duration of 6 months to 2 years. The pay rate is
$42/hr. plus holiday and vacation pay and 401k. Must be able to work overtime assignments. Overtime
is paid at $60/hr. Location is Dallas, Texas.
