A Billion Dollar Company is seeking a Director of Health and Safety. This individual we are seeking
will oversee and participate in the support function of the Health and Safety including medical
surveillance, industrial hygiene, training, and claims management.

Some of the responsibilities will be to establish goals and objectives of the Health and Safety
Department. Develop corporate policies and guidelines related to the protection of employee health
and to the well being of the corporation that will be utilized by management to properly and safely
manage hazardous materials. The candidate will provide direction, guidance, and support to facility
and regional safety staff related to SOP’s training, health and safety plans, exposures, management
of incidents, equipment, purchasing, budgeting and projects. Monitors costs by evaluating Health and
Safety equipment and environment expenditures to provide the corporation with the safest, most
cost-effective solution.

Must have a Bachelors degree in sciences, engineering, or equivalent academic training and
experience. Seeking someone with 10 years of health and safety field experience. Also Hygiene or
safety certification required. Experience with DOT and Fleet. Knowledge of regulations, safety
policies OSHA, safe work practices and protective gear usage. Effective verbal and written
communication skills. Must be familiar with the process of performing industrial hygiene studies,
medical tests, and safety inspections. No relocation. The location of the position is Dallas.

Salary: $90-110K + Bonus + Full Benefits
