DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Develops, implements, administers, and maintains policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database.
Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes. Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Work independently and in a highly collaborative and teaming environment. May work on a team with other vendors and DMDC personnel.
Create technical documentation in support of new development, upgrades and enhancements.
Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong leadership and project management skills.
Act as team lead and mentor new team members as necessary.
Work with the customer, developer teams, and production support to troubleshoot an issue or bug.
Attend required Corporate in-service training.
