Senior Software Engineer

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance a global, multi-tiered desktop application. Leverage skills in developing application integration points across a diverse set of existing systems. Continually pursue and maintain a current understanding and knowledge of the available technology, tools, and existing designs. Collaborate with business staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate defined complex business requirements and processes, determine infrastructure, and recommend solution options. Occassionally support end users of Field Engnieering Systems such as Horizon.

Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.

5+ years of in-depth experience in object oriented business application design and development. 4 years of .Net using C#. VB6 experience is required. Experience with WCF and WPF web services is a plus. Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming using required and preferred technologies Working knowledge of web services. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work effectively independently or in groups Demonstrable written and verbal technical communication skills Ability to learn new technologies quickly
