Commerce Bank is currently looking for a Technical Lead, Apps Development to work in our Mt. Laurel, NJ location.
The Technical Lead will assist the organization by managing the development of custom application, integration, database, and reporting solutions.
Principle Responsibilities
- Manage internal and external resources to develop custom solutions that meet the strategic technological initiatives of the organization
- Review, evaluate, and recommend objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure that the solutions provided are of consistently high quality and that the needs of the business are being serviced
- Manage vendor resources for externally developed solutions, enforcing Commerce standards for such development
- Provide consultative services to Delivery Systems Managers and the lines of business, offering technical advice, alternative courses of action and solution suggestions
- Oversee the transition of production systems to Infrastructure and the Delivery Systems Managers
- Any and all other responsibilities as may be required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical certification and/or employment experience
- Experience developing and providing technical oversight in the development of corporate e-solutions (eg. intranets, internet sites, applications, databases, data warehouses)
- Proven experience with FileNet REQUIRED.
- Proven Project Management and Resource Management skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Minimum of three to five years of technical experience with the majority of the following technologies:
- Relational Database Engines: DB2, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, ORACLE
- Development Tools: Lotus Notes, Filenet, Transact SQL, Visual Basic, .Net, Active Server Pages, VBScript, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic For Applications, XML, HTML, Streaming Media and/or Active X
- Application Tools: CICS, MQSeries, COM+ Services, Microsoft Transaction Server, IIS, Commerce Server, BizTalk Server
- Operating Systems: UNIX, MVS, Windows 2000 Professional/Server, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation/Server, Windows XP/98/95
- CASE Tools: Visio, Rational Rose, ErWin
