Description: Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities :
This assignment is responsible for performing all laboratory testing on raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished products according to established laboratory procedures. This assignment deals with parenteral as well as oral and topical pharmaceutical products and products that are produced at international locations, U.S. outside contractors, and at the Newark site. This assignment is responsible for performing testing of raw materials, packaging materials, and products using various laboratory instrumentation, notebooks, LIMS, and Standard Analytical methods while complying with all regulatory testing requirements. Candidate will performs all testing in a manner that is consistent with site-approved safety guidelines (including, but not limited to, JSHA's MSDS's, and dress code). Candidate will comply with meeting all corporate and site safety, health, and environmental objectives and will support business objectives.
Candidate Requirements
Summary of Qualifications :
A.S degree in a scientific field preferred. Must have 3-5 years experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory. Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LIMS, and Computerized Data Acquisition programs. Experience within Pharmaceutical QA and/or Operations; working knowledge of cGMPs as they relate to the Pharmaceutical Industry; working knowledge of USP, EP, and BP testing requirements; experience with laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, and IR Spectroscopy).
