Description: Advance the Information Security Application Risk program. Provide consulting expertise to projects regarding secure application development and deployment. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of information security controls within internally and externally developed applications. Manage encryption keys used for information security of credit card portfolios. Manage encryption software package for encrypting e-mail and file transfers. Manage small to medium sized projects within information Security. Work with developers as required to move internal applications over to the single sign-on infrastructure. Work closely with project teams, vendors and with other systems professionals to identify innovative security solutions and actively apply these solutions to advance products and profits.
SKILL NOTES:Strong project management skills with proven leadership of project teams and a team oriented self-starter. Must be able to work collaboratively with other departments to advocate information security solutions. Must possess high degree of initiative, motivation and problem solving skills. Must have solid knowledge and experience with e-commerce application security, encryption software and algorithms, and encryption key management. Experience with 2 or more varieties of Unix, Windows NT/2000, network services, knowledge of experience with ethical hacking and application scanning and web/client-server development and troubleshooting. Minimum of two years as an application developer.
