Job Title: Project Manager
Location: El Segundo, CA
Term: Contract
Duration: 6- 12 Months
Skills Required: infrastructure domain expertise, service delivery, prior Chevron experience
This is the biggest IT project for the refinery this year so the needs is for a very experienced senior PM. Here are the requirements in terms of priority:
• PM should have managed independently complex infrastructure projects ($8-10MM) owning the overall delivery of the project on time and budget
• Exceptional communication skills – both with Management and also in an union/blue collar environment
• Ability to perform the project controls (scheduling and cost management)
• Mobility: available to travel to Los Angeles up to 2 weeks per month (would consider a PM local to LA who can be at the refinery most of the time)
• PM needs to be comfortable working in a plant environment (refinery)
• If there is no prior Chevron experience, there needs to be a plan and confidence to quickly pick up on CPDEP and would not need significant guidance on how to navigate the internal processes around project management.
