As a key member of the Marketing team, the Technical Marketing Specialist
will work closely with the Product Managers to promote Company PhysChem and
Chromatography product lines. Work will involve scientific writing, public
speaking, marketing research, team based creation of marketing collateral,
as well as mentoring Company staff of sales and support professionals. The
Technical Marketing Specialist for PhysChem and Chromatography at Company
will be responsible for infusing Company marketing efforts with value
propositions germane to specific industry practices.
As such, it is essential that this individual be prepared to take on
significant responsibility, work without supervision, and perform
effectively as a member of a team. Public speaking skills are a must as is
the willingness to travel. Expert working knowledge of chromatographic
method development and physical chemistry is a must, and any of the
following additional areas of expertise and experience would be beneficial:
computational chemistry/cheminformatics, drug discovery research, analytical
chemistry, structural elucidation, data management, software
development/programming, and project management. Evidence of success in a
previous position of responsibility will be a differentiating factor among
candidates.
