TITLE: Sr. Technologist
POSITIONS: 1 3-6 month contract to possible full time
LOCATION: Hamilton, Cambridge and West Toronto, Canada
Profile
The senior technologist will be an integral part of the product development
team making important contributions by designing and conducting tests and
procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. The person will demonstrate
supervisory, leadership and technical expertise and help build the company
development team.
Skills and Experience
Technology Development
§ 7-10 years technologist experience in the hi-tech sector. Telecom
§ Relevant experience in design, application and test in a R&D environment.
§ Demonstrated success and participation in new product introduction,
prototype development including packaging, and test measurement.
Areas of Knowledge
-Hi-tech sector should include telecommunications
-Hi-speed analogue and digital electronics for wireless broadband.
-Thorough understanding of development management and project management
principles
-CAD Development Tools
-Logic Analysers
Other Skills and Experience Areas
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Organization and team leadership skills
Ability to organize and document activity, status and change.
In depth knowledge and ability to practically apply configuration
management, requirements traceability and project management principles.
Can do and will do attitude.
Goals and results oriented.
Hands on experience and successs in taking products out of R&D an into the
market
Education
Technologist Diploma from a recognized institution.
