Our client, a progressive team of consulting engineers providing engineering
services across Canada, is seeking the immediate services of a Senior
Structural Engineer for their Fredericton, NB office.
Education:
B. Eng (Civil) as a minimum; or
Advanced Degree (M. Eng) - desirable.
Experience:
Structural steel design; communication tower design.
Very familiar with structural steel software programs and CADD techniques.
Knowledge of steel design codes
Knowledge of CSA S37 and TIA/EIA 222
Valuable attributes:

Conscientious, works with meticulous detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High computer literacy
Ability to provide technical assistance and supervision of other engineers
and technical staff
Willing to work in excess of the normal 40 hour work week when work load
dictates.
Works well independently to satisfy client demands
Can independently tackle complex structural assignments.
Compensation:
Base salary is negotiable in range of $55,000 - $65,000 (depending on
experience)
Profit sharing, health, dental and life insurance benefits.
