DevOps Engineer

to ensure our services remain scalable and available to automate management of cloud-based (AWS) infrastructure to create reliable, rapid-fire application deployment tools

great communication skills and a team focus independent problem-solving and decision-making skills a strong, full-stack understanding of Internet technologies proficient with at least one Linux distribution able to code well in one or more languages (we use Python) experience using a configuration management tool such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt. a desire to create tools and systems that help other developers do more faster a vigilant "measure twice, cut once" orientation three or more years experience running production services

experience using AWS services experience running high-traffic sites contributions to Open-source software strong database expertise security expertise
