Recently, I was approached by Bank One, to build a new organization focused
on consolidating and managing the entire Internet infrastructure for the
bank its subsidiaries. In the short term, we are tactically focused in the
sense that we are establishing credibility within the organization by
assisting on the implementation of projects.
Project implementations will be only one major part of this
organization. Providing second and third tier support for Middleware
apps such as Websphere and Weblogic will also be a big piece of this
organizations responsibility. Finally, and most importantly, we will
be working with all of the disparate Internet splinter groups to pull
them together under one architecture...a long term and very strategic
goal.
So why the email to the group? Simple, I need the best and the
brightest. I need deep and broad skillsets alike in all areas of web
technology. If you know how to build and deploy servers...I would
like to see a resume. If you like the challenge of supporting
applications, I'd like to see a resume. If you think you have what
it takes to build an Internet infrastructure for a large and diverse
organization...I definitely want to see your resume.
Bank One is an awesome organization with competitive pay, an
excellent relo package, outstanding benefits and a strong, relatively
young and aggressive management team. We are extremely selective in
who we bring on-board...our ratio of resumes to offers is nearly
40:1. We seek only the best of the best and these folks will fit in
not only technically but culturally.
If you would like to be considered for a potential position, please
forward your resume in word format to the following address:
