The Battelle Process Engineering Group is seeking an individual who will be responsible for design,
assembly and evaluation of an integrated micro technology system based on scale-up of
bench/laboratory experiments. This individual will participate on the lab-scale experimental team
with primary responsibility for the scale-up application engineering of micro technology. Focus will
be a catalyst performance evaluation in a lab-scale, then a pilot-plant scale, and finally in a
chemical plant.
Successful candidate will have a BS/MS in Chemical Engineering. Three to five years of experience in
a process industry with a working knowledge in the development, production and/or use of catalysts
is required. Demonstrated experience with thermo chemical process, scale-up design, and start-up
operation is also required. Microtech experience, aptitude/familiarity with fabrication and A&E
experience is desired.
