Basic Functions:
As part of a programming team, gather requirements, develop specifications
and detailed programming design, and test and implement programs design to
support both internal and external customer base. Need a person with a
broad understanding that has taken a PB development projects from beginning
to implementation and then enhancements.

Specific duties:
§ Participate in the design of applications and products
§ Assist in preparation of specifications, ensure specifications meet
standards
§ Code, unit test, and document programs according to specifications for
both new development projects and system maintenance requests
§ Coordinate application testing, including logic and load testing for the
client, server, and network components, and design of unit and system test
data
§ Coordinate application implementation, including training materials and
documentation for end users and Operations
§ Review programmer code for adherence to programming and GUI standards
§ Code, unit test, and document programs according to specifications for
both new development projects and system maintenance requests
§ Participate in application testing, including test data preparation and
coordination
§ Develop implementation documentation, including operator instructions
§ Aid the Operations group with program implementation
§ Participate in project design and management sessions

Qualifications:
§ 3 Years experience in Power Builder, 6.0 required, 6.5 a plus
§ Software analysis and relational database experience
§ 5+ years industry experience
§ Object oriented programming and design experience with PFC helpful
§ MS Access a plus
§ Bachelor of Science degree in computer programming or equivalent
