Title: Database/Systems Administrator (Oracle, UNIX)
Job Description:
- The Systems/Database Administrator will work on a team of other
DBAs/Systems Administrators, providing UNIX and Oracle database
administration to databases around the world.
- This team supports a highly visible, state-of-the-art Oracle, client-
server GUI financial support application based on the SUN Solaris
platform.
- Looking for an experienced senior-level Administrator with at least 3-
5 years of related professional expertise.
- Ideal candidate will be heavy on UNIX experience, possess some Oracle
background, and have exposure to the DoD environment.
- Must be able to write UNIX scripts, and have background with TCP/IP
networking.
- Ability to work early mornings (beginning 6-7 a.m.) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field
required.
- The work to be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- This is a contract-to-hire opportunity - a permanent position with a
3-months initial contract.
