Title: IT Support Technical Specialist
Job Description:
- Looking for a Technician to provide support to company's external
customers.
- Will diagnose PCs and replace defective parts, setup printers,
configure them on a network.
- Will be responsible for installation and configuration of hubs,
modems, etc.
- Will work with Lantronix, install CAT5, modem and printer cables.
- Will be responsible for new installations, updates, dialup networking-
RAS and VPN, network configuration, TCP/IP and DNS in Windows 95/98/NT
4.0 environments.
- Background with UNIX (DG UNIX preferred) a plus. Will configure
printers, terminals and modems, run basic commands (startups,
shutdowns, kills, etc), basic system troubleshooting in a UNIX
environment.
- PCAnywhere 32, Reflections, Oracle Runtime, Lotus Notes installation
and configuration skills helpful.
- Must have good troubleshooting skills, and work well with others.
- Must be willing to travel 75 to 80% (most trips would be one day
trips and you could be expected to be home the same day), able to lift
weights up to 80 lbs., must have reliable vehicle.

Pay Rate: Based on technical background (preferably in $35K-$40K
range).
