Strong Java Developer with J2EE Web Application, Oracle and XML experience. Recent Brokerage, Structured Finance and/or Securities experience is required to be considered for this position

The Senior Software Developer will be a key player in the design & implementation of a web-based suite of internal surveillance applications to support the Structured Finance business. This role requires a mature, seasoned technologist who works effectively both independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Seeking a delivery-focused candidate with solid web application development experience and fundamental securities industry domain knowledge.

Required Skills: Strong web application development experience, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JavaScript. Good overall knowledge of J2EE and associated APIs, Fluency in Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, SQL optimization, Strong Object-Oriented Analysis & Design skills, experience with XML/XSL/XSLT. Candidates should be prepared to explain strategies and design decisions leveraging J2EE technologies in their employment experiences.

Preferred skills: experience designing and implementing applications against both relational and dimensional data stores. User interface, human factors experience. Experience with custom tags, servlet filters, and other newer J2EE 1.3 features, knowledge of design patterns, UML modeling, best practices, familiarity with NT and Solaris,

Candidates must have structured finance, fixed income, brokerage and/or credit derivatives background,

Experience with WEBI SDK a big plus.
