The selected Senior UNIX / Solaris System Administrator candidate will
to join their Systems group and be involved in system builds and
loads, patch revision, package installs, network setup, backup setup,
disk configuration on RAID devices. In addition, you will be
responsible for system troubleshooting, user support, and production
support for a diversified server population of 800+.
Qualified Senior Solaris / UNIX System Administrator candidates will
have six+ years experience in UNIX System Administration with solid
Solaris experience. AIX experience is also highly preferred. Must
also have strong programming skills in C, evaluation of software
products and tools, experience in storage technologies (SAN/NAS), and
small project management. Knowledge of Shell Scripts/Korn Shell,
TCP/IP, System Tuning with Sun and IBM, architecture design and basic
troubleshooting skills are also required. A Bachelor's Degree or
equivalent is preferred - BA/BS Computer Science, BSEE, BS Math. A
Masters or a PhD is a big plus.
