The project is a front to back process and application re engineering
effort for the fixed income repo product line. The project is a
two-year effort with participation from outside departments covering
the entire lifespan of a repo trade.
The selected Senior Fixed Income Visual C++ Developer candidate will
participate in the team responsible for the new processing layer which
will become the firm’s central repository for all repo information.
Candidate must be able to work as part of this diverse team.
Specific responsibilities of the selected Senior Fixed Income VC++
Developer candidate will include:
a.. Delivery of key components of the new processing layer based on
functionality specifications documented by the business
analyst.
b.. Knowledge transfer of key technology skills (see skills section)
to project staff.
c.. Must be able to work under tight deadlines and high pressure,
including early morning/ late night hours as required to
accomplish the task at hand.
Experience
Qualified Fixed Income Visual C++ Developer candidates will have the
following experience and skills:
a.. Minimum five years experience in application development on
Windows platform.
b.. Participation in integration testing and production deployment
of new system processes.
c.. Strong C++, COM+ and Oracle development skills on Windows
platform.
d.. Good verbal & written communications is strongly preferred.
e.. MUST HAVE a good understanding of Fixed Income products. Repo
products is a big plus.
f.. VC++ developer candidates that have both UNIX and NT is even
better. They are moving from UNIX to NT.

This long term independent contract in New York City, New York offers
a flexible starting rate in the $550 to $650 per day range, depending
on experience, for a ten hour professional day with overtime fully
paid over ten hours. Your asking compensation will be submitted after
