The selected JAVA Websphere Web Developer candidate will implement
designs, and maintain web based applications using appropriate tools
and techniques as well as write documentation and Q/A web applications
with any other duties required to make the team a success.
Qualified JAVA Websphere Developer candidates will have:
-Six years+ of programming (C,C++,Java experience preferred)
-Four+ years of web applications development experience.
-Four+ years of proven Java development experience.
-Good understanding of OOD and UML Strong manual coding of Java
Servlets, JSP,
-Two+ years experience using Visual Age for JAVA / VAJ and WebSphere
-Working experience in HTML and JavaScript coding Excellent verbal &
written communication skills.
-UNIX/Solaris working experience a must.
-WEB application infrastructure and deployment
-XSL development experience a plus.
-EJB development experience a plus
-PVCS a plus
-Experience writing technical requirements for systems D
-Examples of URL's of work will be required (online portfolio
requested)
Desired/Optional Skills:
-Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
-Experience in HTML and JavaScript programming.
-Experience developing and supporting web sites
-Experience with dynamic web sites.
-Willingness to work in a teams Professional work experience required
