Business Intelligence Architect candidates for a long term independent
contract in the Jersey City, New Jersey area. (Local candidates
preferred, no interviewing or travel expenses available and no visa
sponsorship available and no 3rd party referrals or agencies, please).
The selected Senior Business Intelligence Architect candidate with an
in depth knowledge of business intelligence (BI) will assist with the
re engineering of a global financial architecture.
Qualified Senior Business Intelligence Architect candidates will have
worked implementing BI solutions with a broad variety of products and
will also have in depth understanding of financial reporting. In
addition it would be preferred if the candidate had a strong
familiarity with one of the major ERP vendor products such as
Peoplesoft, SAP, or Oracle Financials, with a preference for Oracle
Financials. Qualified candidates will have no less than seven years
of total experience including experience with a major financial
services firm is required.
Specific Experience Required:
In depth technical familiarity with the architectures underlying BI
tools is extremely important for the candidate to have. Knowledge of
tools such as Oracle Discoverer, OFA, OSA, Oracle Reports, Business
Objects, and Cognos Impromptu in a UNIX environment would be ideal.
Candidate should have experience with component-based development
(JAVA) or component based design methodologies (UML). Experience or
knowledge with star schemas and ROLAP/MOLAP is important.
Main Skills Needed:
Senior level BI architecture experience for a financial services firm
Oracle Applications/Financials Experience, ERP experience
In depth knowledge of BI tool architectures

This is a long term project split in the Jersey City, New Jersey area
offering an initial long term contact with a flexible starting rate in
the $1000 to $1200 per day range, depending on experience, including
