Description: POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Required to enhance IT security and controls in response to increased internal and external audit as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
· Necessary to improve the overall IT control environment.
· Create and maintain a network vulnerability and risk assessment
· Develop and maintain a network security strategy, policies and standards and architecture
· Provide leadership on security issues to network engineering and operations personnel
· Provide expert guidance and consulting on network security to all IT areas
If you have an Undergraduate degree in computer or electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science or related discipline:
· At least five years as technical lead or manager of a networking or network security function in the financial services industry
· At least 8 years of technology experience as a network engineer, analyst, architect or designer
· Experience with implementation of network security systems such as intrusion detection, cryptography, firewalls, VPNs, remote access solutions
· Extensive knowledge of distributed data networking technologies and systems
· Thorough knowledge of internetworking, including TCP/IP, IPsec, routers, IP internetwork configuration and design
· Substantial knowledge of information security practices and technology
· Familiarity with front and back office operations in the financial services industry
If you have a Graduate degree in computer or electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science or related discipline:
· At least ten years in network management in the financial services industry
· Experience in developing network security policies and standards
· Experience with standards work in security, such as ISO, ANSI, IETF, etc.
