Job Description:
A Strong Quality Assurance Analyst to create test plans and scripts
for Client mainframe projects and products.
This position requires an incumbent to have at least five years of
experience (preferably more) in data processing with a minimum of
three years of Q/A experience. The position emphasizes formal
application system testing methodologies and change management in an
IBM mainframe Batch & DB2/CICS environment. A functional knowledge
of JCL is a plus. The job will require extensive writing of
structured test plans, test scripts and the creation of conditional
test data using TSO/ISPF and FILEAID. Candidate will do this based
upon an analysis of functional
specifications and interviews with clients and developers. At least
some experience or past exposure to automated test tools tools would
be a strong plus.
Job Requirements:
Understanding of Financial Industry and Trade
Processing is a plus. Exceptionally strong writing ability is
required as the position will be responsible for writing and
publishing many documents intended for the executives, managers,
developers, testers and clients and regulatory agencies.
