Job Description:
A college degree in a computer-related field, or equivalent work
experience, with 2-4 years experience supervising in a
service/support environment.
PC hardware set up and troubleshooting. Windows 95 O/S and M/S
Office Suite set up and troubleshooting.
Basic network administration and troubleshooting knowledge
Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical staff
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrated thoroughness and follow-through

Job Requirements:
Objective:
Responsible for the development of help desk and supervision of
ongoing operations of help desk, participate in development,
documentation and enforcing of Help Desk policies and procedures,
able to to participate if volume warrants.
Major Functions:
Staffing of Help Desk team, including evaluating adequate staffing
levels, interview and hiring of prospective staff. Provide training,
both initial and on-going of Help Desk staff, including technical and
customer service skills. Scheduling of staff to ensure adequate
customer service coverage. Delegation and prioritization of work
assignments for Help Desk staff. Assists with setup and troubleshoot
new/updated computers and components,including network connections
and peripherals when required.
