The Product Manager is chartered with leading the product strategy, product
management and product release processes to develop and attain business and product line
goals. The Product Manager has responsibility for market input, product requirements,
communication of the product roadmap, and product line strategy, product deliverables,
and provides input to the marketing strategies.
The focus for the product manager is to provide the leadership to direct following:
Define the product strategy, target users, competition, benefits and core
differentiation;
Lead the product planning process by insuring comprehensive set of market
inputs; completion of the product requirements document; leading appropriate Product
Release Teams and external oriented Focus Groups; and the overall product management
process.
Develop the product line strategy and roadmap (eighteen month product release
plan);
Maintaining end-user research and competitive research;
Direct business opportunity analysis to include: market & revenue opportunity
analysis; customer requirements; and; competitive analysis;
Develop and provide the marketing content for product introductions and
deliverables;
Support the regional field organizations with marketing support and customer
presence;
Establish target market and user segment priorities with marketing and sales
managers;
Lead communications related to the product line with Product Release Team;
other product marketing managers; sales and marketing executives.
The Product Manager role is an executive leadership role with direction connection
to all key executives within the organization. Our expectation is that Product
Managers have over 10 years of relevant industry experience and are capable of leading all
areas of the company in regards to their product or product line. We are looking for
an individual with a proven track record in product management. It would be a bonus to
find an individual who had also led other product managers. We are looking for an
individual who has at least 3-5 years of experience with enterprise software. 1-3 of
those years MUST have been servicing large call center applications.

Best candidates would have experience in call center applications from companies
such as Siebel, Clarify/Amdocs, Kana, Peoplesoft or any company with comparable
products. Our ideal candidate would also have experience in product marketing or software
development as these two functions bridge our product management organization.
