Essential Functions:
Summary
Originate real estate secured loans for Ameriquest Mortgage by developing referral relationships and by telemarketing. source, develop, package, and close real estate secured loans. Gather and review loan documents, maintain contact with customers throughout loan submission, approval and funding processes and deliver documents to branch processing staff. Perform all work in accordance with Ameriquest Mortgage Company policies, procedures, guidelines and applicable state/federal regulations.
Source Business
· Telemarket using telephone galleys provided by the marketing department.
· Telemarket leads provided by the Branch Manager and obtained through customer referrals.
· Provide solutions to incoming prospective-customer calls related to loan inquiries.
· Assist the Branch Manager as needed in the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
Originate Loans
· Assess prospective customer needs, determine their interest in obtaining a loan with Ameriquest and complete a handwritten loan application.
· Order comps from appraiser and schedule appraisal, if approved by Branch Manager
· Determine the customers credit risk, the requested loan amount, and maximum allowable loan amount, and then calculate the borrower's new monthly payment, monthly savings and interest rate decrease.
· Calculate loan revenue using the pricing model in the loan origination system.
· Explain and gather the customer documentation required for loan approval.
· Act as the loan's closing agent, if allowed under state law.
· Disburse funds to the customer.
General Responsibilities
· Meet sales goals as established with the Branch Manager.
· Develop and maintain vendor relationships (e.g., appraiser) critical to supporting the business strategy.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Desired Requirements:
· 6 months sales experience.
· Willingness to travel within driving distance to source business and obtain loan documents from customers.
· Aptitude and drive.
· Willingness and desire to make great money !!
