Musicians with a talent for writing are wanted for this position. Help us create content for Drums and Percussion for our e-commerce site, and serve as primary "silent salesperson" for on-line sales.
You will establish and maintain format for presentation of online assortment, and define specifications and supporting materials. You'll research products in print and electronic media, institute and maintain vendor information contacts, enter pertinent data into MARS content database. You'll be responsible for enhancing content, assortment and supporting materials based on sales trends and personalization for customer needs, maximizing sales by reacting to e-commerce sales trends and reactions of customers, and generating features to enhance the online community aspect of marsmusic.com.
Areas of content include but are not limited to:
Product Information and features;
Product Images;
Frequently Asked Questions;
Troubleshooting;
Classification information;
Cross-Selling;
Substitute Selling;
Application information;
Top 10 Questions by classification (where applicable);
Glossary of terms;
Product Offerings (promotions);
Tips, tricks, how-to's.
A college degree is required, as well as a background in retail (selling and/or buying). You must be a musician! Experience in strong, solid copywriting a plus.
