The position is part of the marsmusic.com business systems team, which is responsible for the implementation of applications, technologies, and business processes for the marsmusic.com web site. This position will operate the Project Office to support the initial development, deployment and growth of the On-line Store portion of the site. Primary responsibilities will be to manage internal and external teams in support of business systems projects including project planning, defining business requirements, process design, resources needs and operational setup. This is a great opportunity for someone with sound Project Management capabilities to work in a creative, fun, and highly focused environment utilizing the best of breed internet technologies and people.
Experience required in:
Managing large or diverse Internet development projects, which have integration to fulfillment systems, financial reporting, and/or customer relationship management;
Previous projects which include working with third-party consultants, internal teams and technologies in order to facilitate coordination of tasks, business objectives and dependencies
Successful completion of projects per schedules, budgets and end user satisfaction;
Knowledge of E-Commerce related applications such as credit services, order processing, customer service and product catalogs a plus;
Additional skills include:
Experience and training in Project Management methodologies and practices;
Experience with business applications in Retail and/or Web;
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal;
Highly organized, task oriented and self motivated;
Strong analytical skills;
Experience with process design and/or reengineering;
Experience as a consultant or extensive work with third-party vendors;
Ability to work with a wide range of creative and technical resources
