Sales and Property Tax Manager (Connecticut)
Our client, a commercial equity financing business located in Danbury is seeking a
Sales and Property Tax Manager. Primary responsibilities will include: Managing all
aspects of sales/use and property tax requirements including technical analysis and
sales/property tax teams; Streamline sales/use and property tax functions and processes
using Quality tools - Drive Six Sigma across all tax processes; Work with
Acquisition and Integration Tax Manager to rationalize processes used by targeted company and
assimilate servicing of acquired portfolios; Liaise with business sales teams to
answer tax technical questions relating to products and clients; and Manage a staff of 4
tax professionals. The position requires a professional with 8 - 10 years of
experience in general sales/use and property tax processes. The ideal candidate will
possess strong analytical and communication skills as well as demonstrated leadership
skills and qualities. A BS in accounting is required. Client prefers candidate with
leasing experience, a MST or CPA, Six Sigma Quality trained or certified, and
acquisition/integration experience. Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
