Position Specifications: B.S. Degree or equivalent and 5+ years experience in a
related field required. In-depth understanding of all technical aspects of a project at
the sub-system level, with a strong understanding of system level interface
requirements. Trouble-shooter for projects at the sub-system level. Recognizes and reports
problems affecting completion of project. Significant technical contributor to the
generation of specifications and schedules.
Duties & Responsibilities: Designs and develops electrical components, equipment,
systems and products. Designs and directs engineering personnel in the fabrication of
test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures and
conditions for testing. Directs activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation
and operational testing to conform to functional specifications and customer
requirements. Uses computer aided engineering and design software to perform engineering
tasks. Provides technical guidance to lower level engineers and designers.
