Quality Assurance Analyst Key Accountabilities
• Develops and executes formal test plans. • Develops and executes
software testing scripts • Records and reports on defects discovered
during the QA and UAT testing phases. • Develops and distributes
project level status reports • Develops and maintains automated
functional test scripts • Coordinates and supports user acceptance
testing • Analyzes and documents business processes relevant to
systems projects and improves these processes where appropriate. •
Executes change management tasks in systems projects including, but
not limited to, communication to key user communities, providing
subject matter expertise, and acquiring proper approvals • Provides
implementation and roll-out support to users. • Participate as needed
throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle •
Suggests and implements process improvements for Quality Assurance and
testing processes • Assists with the administration of the automated
testing tools • Where appropriate, provides the ITS organization with
feedback on the direction of the business.
Skills
• Ability to work on projects that have enterprise-wide impact and
require subject matter expertise of quality assurance and software
testing. • Ability to work as a project team member on projects to
ensure the quality of the delivered software. • Strong written and
verbal communication skills along with the ability to absorb and
present large amounts of detail through various forms of
communications. • Ability to facilitate discussions in a mixed
technical and business team environment. • Must understand technical
problems and solutions in relation to the current business
environment.
Knowledge
Typically has 1-4 years of IT skills with emphasis on quality
assurance, software testing, or software development
