I have a similar question and one comment.
First of all, my understanding and experience has been that only one of
the 7 screen names can be logged into AOL at a time.
Now for my question. I have a LAN at home. One of my PCs is running NT
server/Proxy server and shares its internet connection (via dialup modem)
to the rest of the LAN. All PCs can access email and the internet using
as variety of email readers and browsers. I just installed AOL6.0 on my
Win98 machines and through AOL configured to use a TCP/IP connection with
automatic settings all can read email and a variety of other stuff. The
one thing that none of them can use is internet browsing from within AOL.
We type in a URL and it spins and spins and finally says either File
cannot be found or DNS error. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks
Phil
