AOL Displaying tables...

Am having a problem with AOL. Every page I view on the internet which is
supposed to display tables with a background fill isn't! I first noticed
this when my site I've just started to design in Dreamweaver wasn't
displaying correctly, then all of a sudden every background colour in a
table in any website is white...gone!
I believe it to have some connection with dreamweaver, or a setting in
dreamweaver, but uninstalls of both dreamweaver and AOL, and IE6 are useless
:-(
I'm using Windows XP Pro, AOL 7.0 and IE6.

AOL's systems are awfully proprietary, and do not comply to
international standards. How do the tables look when you use a real ISP and
an unbranded browser?

If its Dreamweaver I can look at the code and check ..
Have you tried using an External browser ?
Using Netscape or Opera causes no problems for me, while not 'Officially'
supported
they still work
