Mnemonic, Singapore's first overseas band talks to Scissors about recording U2's 'Ground Beneath Her Feet', their hopes on MP3s, playing live in Livestock Festival and more!!!

SCISSORS: Why did you guys decide to put up 'Ground Beneath Her Feet' by U2?

JON: Basically we heard their promo sound clip on the BBC and thought it was a cool chord progression. So we jammed it out and suddenly something went *click* and we realised that there was a sound coming out of our amplifiers that was more than just the notes we were playing. To use a cliche, a good song is "more than the sum of its parts" and we realised that Ground was a very good song, so we decided to record it.
