Jai Guru Dev,

|| Om Shanti Om Shanti Om Shanti ||

Ashtavakra Geeta

Man finds comfort in the past or in the future, and never looks in  to the present. This has been a very old habit of the human mind. Either it glorifies the past and relishes itself in the memory of the past,or it builds castle in dreams and clouds for the future.
But look in the present. In the present, the presence-God-is so alive! Here right now,in front of you, behind you, at your sides, above you, below you,as you.

Janaka is astonished. So far he has always heard glory about the past.He has always heard about future incarnations, but now Ashtavakra comes and sits...'Aho! Niranjaanah,'he says, 'Oh,Iam the untarnished.'
This is not happen with Krishna and arjuna.Arjuna asked so many questions.he had so many doubts and questions;Arjuna  could not be convinced until the end.Arjuna was given the knowledge -the whole Gita- as a dear friend.
when Krishna said,' do what ever you want its up to you.

But with  case of Janaka, there was no delay,it was immediate recognition,  'Oh,yes!'  He said, 'Aho Niranjanah, (means untouched by any thing) Yes,I see right now, I am not the sinner. I am not a useless worm!'
He says I am  beyond the qualities, Three Gunas and nature of my body.

'My Body is restless because rajoguna is dominating. when i feel very clear and very joyful, sattvaguna is dominating and these never stay constant, they come and go but I have nothing to do with them.
I am separate from them, i am untouched by this. Niranjanah Aho! Oh,ho! All these days, i have been kept captive by time and deep inside me, I am so peaceful! My nature is peace! Where am I looking for peace?
Here and there, doing this and that! oh my God! what a big joke!' he comes out with that.
A realization; just a knock,a few words, touch and clear off the whole system. The knowledge is right there. Just as we do in hollow and empty. One closes eyes and sees, 'Yes, Aho!' There is immediate recognition. 'Yes!'

Thank You,
Jai Guru Dev
