"Mostly every person I've met during a very emotional family journey through a small town in Michigan called Escanaba just seem to "get it". Peaceful coexistence. Joy seeking. Acceptance of self as part of greater whole. Can't evidence how many times I've encountered this wonderful dynamic via media because the moments are too pure to capture with a 3rd party, but with more time in the company of these people I have faith that I could fill months of wonderful AOK's just enjoying the honor of being in their company.. knowing that tougher days with more challenging, fascinating and often brilliant people - who are probably hurting inside for want of connection - lay ahead when we return to LA at the end of the month. Till then I'm checking out of AOK unless an authentic "Kodak moment" happens to coincide with a post-worthy, media-rich AOK. Back home, I can't wait to celebrate the creative AOK's that are sure to emerge among my Angelino brothers and sisters!"
