Just A Reminder: AOF Highway Cleanup Saturday

The weather forecast for Saturday is exquisite, so why not join AOF as we hit the road to do some much needed cleaning?
Preventing trash and debris from clogging our waterways is a big favor we do for the environment and wildlife. You can see the ready evidence of the devastating consequences to wildlife of loose plastic left to decay in the environment at this link(beware, it is explicit)

We will clean a 2-mile stretch of Highway 99 north of Elkhorn Blvd.(one mile north of the 99, I-5 split) this Saturday, November 14 @ 8a.m. We meet at the Elkhorn Park&Ride west of 99 and we meet so early to avoid unsafe heavy traffic.  We provide hard hat, gloves, picker, trash bags and vests.  It is a good idea to bring a backpack or fanny pack so that you can carry 3 or 4 trash bags with you.  Generally, we are done within two hours.
