The Research Committee on Concepts and Methods (RC01) of the International Political Science Association welcomes papers and panel proposals for the 25th IPSA World Congress of Political Science (
https://wc2018.ipsa.org/), Brisbane, July 21-26, 2018.
Deadline: October 10, 2018.
Understanding itself as an open and plural platform of discussion on basic conceptual and methodological problems and embracing the full spectrum of methodological research in political science, Concepts & Methods invites the submission of panels and individual papers addressing all aspects of political methodology. We welcome submissions that deal with a wide variety of topics, incl. conceptualization, measurement, research design, case selection, process tracing, model specification, estimation, visualization, IRB, transparency and replication, and proposals are not limited to papers and panels that develop new techniques for experimental, statistical, set-theoretic, computational, archival, interpretive, case study, survey, interview, or field research.
Concepts & Methods encourage submissions that advance political methodology as well as substantive contributions that apply quantitative, qualitative, formal, or mixed methods in innovative ways. Proposals that engage the conference theme of 'Borders and Margins' are particularly welcome.
