Fedora Camp is almost full - reserve your spot today [1]!

The next Fedora Camp, hosted by the Caltech Library, will be held at the Keck Institute for Space Studies in Pasadena April 11-13.

Training will begin with the basics and build toward more advanced concepts–no prior Fedora 4 experience is required. Participants can expect to come away with a deep dive Fedora 4 learning experience coupled with multiple opportunities for applying hands-on techniques working with experienced trainers and Fedora gurus.

This West Coast Fedora Camp is based on the inaugural Fedora Camp that was held at Duke University in November. The camp curriculum [2] will provide a comprehensive overview of Fedora 4 by exploring such topics as:

• Core and extended features
• Data modeling and linked data
• Hydra and Islandora
• Migrating to Fedora 4
• Deploying Fedora 4 in production
• Extending Fedora 4

The curriculum will be delivered by a knowledgable team of instructors from the Fedora community, including:

• Andrew Woods, DuraSpace
• Ben Armintor, Columbia University
• David Wilcox, DuraSpace
• Diego Pino, Metropolitan New York Library Council
• Stefano Cossu, The Art Institute of Chicago

Register today [1] and join us at Caltech for Fedora Camp!
